Ingredients
  

For The Cake:

  • 2 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk soy, almond, oat, etc.
  • ½ cup neutral flavored oil canola, avocado, or vegetable
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
  • cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 cup hot coffee or boiling water

For The Chocolate Ganache:

  • 8 oz vegan chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 1 cup soy milk or full fat coconut milk
  • 1 tsp refined coconut oil for shine
  • 20 g vegan butter
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions
 

Step 1: Get The Pan And Oven Ready

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a Bundt pan generously with oil, then lightly dust it with cocoa powder so the cake won’t stick.

Step 2: Mix The Dry Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until everything is evenly combined.

Step 3: Blend The Wet Ingredients

  • In another bowl, mix the non-dairy milk, oil, vanilla extract, applesauce, and vinegar until smooth and well combined.

Step 4: Make The Batter

  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently, then slowly add the hot coffee or water, mixing until you have a smooth, pour able batter.

Step 5: Bake The Cake

  • Pour the batter into your prepared Bundt pan. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 6: Make The Ganache And Finish

  • Heat the milk in a small saucepan until it’s just simmering. Pour it over the chocolate, vegan butter, and coconut oil. Let it sit for 2 minutes, then stir until glossy and smooth. Drizzle the ganache over the cooled cake and finish with your favourite sprinkles and serve.
