  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 3 ½ cups powdered sugar sifted

Method
 

Oven And Pan Prep:
  1. Set the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by greasing it and dusting with flour, or use parchment paper to line it.
Make The Crust:
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the yellow cake mix, eggs, melted butter, chopped pecans, and coconut flakes until everything is well combined.
Form The Crust:
  1. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan, using a spatula or your hands to create a firm, even layer.
Bake The Crust:
  1. Put the pan in the oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. The crust should be set but not browned. Remove from the oven and set aside.
