Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams mushrooms button, cremini, or baby bella
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano or thyme
  • Red chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley & lemon zest for garnish

Instructions
 

Heat The Pan:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add butter if using and allow it to melt completely.

Saute Garlic:

  • Add minced garlic and saute for 20–30 seconds until fragrant, without browning.

Cook Mushrooms:

  • Add sliced mushrooms to the pan. Cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release moisture and turn golden.

Season & Flavor:

  • Add lemon juice, salt, black pepper, oregano (or thyme), and red chili flakes. Toss well and cook for another 2–3 minutes.

Finish & Serve:

  • Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon zest. Serve warm.
