Equipment

  • Waffle maker
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes Flapjack & Waffle Mix
  • 1 cup milk or water
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil or melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray for greasing the waffle iron
  • blueberries chocolate chips, cinnamon, or chopped nuts

Instructions

Warm Up The Waffle Iron

  • Turn on your waffle maker and let it heat up fully. Give the plates a light mist of cooking spray so the batter doesn’t stick.

Prepare The Batter

  • In a bowl, whisk together the Kodiak mix, milk (or water), egg, oil, and a splash of vanilla until everything comes together. Mix just until smooth.

Add Extras (If You Want)

  • Stir in anything you like blueberries, chocolate chips, cinnamon, nuts whatever sounds good.

Cook The Waffles

  • Pour the batter onto the hot waffle iron and spread it slightly if needed. Close the lid and let it cook until the waffle turns golden and crisp, usually about 3–5 minutes.

Enjoy While Warm

  • Lift the waffle out carefully and serve it right away with your favourite toppings such as fresh fruit, syrup, yogurt, nut butter, or whipped cream.
