Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and whisk everything together until fully combined.
  • Allow the mixture to simmer, stirring occasionally. Let it cook for about 10-15 minutes or until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed. Add more vinegar for tang, more honey or brown sugar for sweetness, or a pinch more cayenne if you like extra heat.
  • Once the sauce has reached the desired thickness and flavor, remove from heat and let it cool. Transfer the sauce to a storage container and refrigerate.
