Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups tomato ketchup
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Combine The Ingredients

  • Grab a medium saucepan and set it over medium heat. Add in the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.

Mix It All Together

  • Use a whisk or spoon to stir everything until it’s smooth and blended.

Let It Simmer

  • Once it starts bubbling gently, lower the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Keep stirring now and then so it doesn’t stick to the bottom or burn.

Adjust The Flavor

  • Give it a taste. If you want it sweeter, add a little more honey. Want more kick? Add a pinch more cayenne.

Cool It Down And Store

  • Take the pot off the heat and let the sauce cool a bit. Then pour it into a clean jar or container with a lid. Keep it in the fridge it’ll stay good for up to two weeks.
