Iced Tea Recipe

Samia
Iced Tea Recipe is a cold, refreshing drink made by brewing black tea, sweetening with sugar or honey, adding ice, lemon juice, and garnishing with mint or lemon slices. I decided to make this iced tea because I remembered my previous experience preparing it, and I wanted to recreate that moment.

  • Spoon for stirring
  • Pitcher or jug
  • Glasses for serving

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 2 –3 tablespoons sugar or honey to taste
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh mint leaves or lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

Brew The Tea

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan or kettle. Take it off the heat, add the black tea bags, and let them steep for about 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags, then stir in sugar or honey until it’s completely dissolved. Let the tea cool for a little while.

Make The Iced Tea

  • Fill a pitcher or individual glasses with ice cubes. Pour the slightly cooled tea over the ice and stir in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix it well so the tea chills evenly.

Garnish And Serve

  • Top with fresh mint leaves or lemon slices for a little extra flair. Serve right away and enjoy your refreshing iced tea.
