Equipment

  • Measuring cup
  • Citrus juicer (optional, for lemon)
  • Glass or mason jar for serving

Ingredients
  

  • ½ large cucumber thoroughly washed
  • 1 green apple cored and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh spinach or kale washed
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1- inch piece of fresh ginger peeled
  • 200 ml filtered water or coconut water for extra hydration
  • 1 head of celery 6–8 ribs, chopped
  • Small handful of fresh Italian parsley
  • Optional: a few ice cubes

Instructions
 

Get Your Ingredients Ready:

  • Rinse all the fruits and vegetables really well. Core the apple and cut it into small chunks. Peel the ginger. Chop the cucumber, celery, and parsley if needed.

Blend Everything:

  • Put the cucumber, apple, spinach or kale, celery, parsley, ginger, and lemon juice into a blender. Pour in about 200 ml of filtered water (or coconut water if you like).

Blend Until Smooth:

  • Turn the blender on high and blend until everything is smooth. If it feels too thick, slowly add a bit more water until it’s just right.

Optional Chill:

  • If you like your juice cold, toss in a few ice cubes and give it another quick blend.

Enjoy:

  • Pour the juice into glasses and drink it right away to get the most nutrients and freshness.
