- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Stir in the ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and maple syrup. Whisk until smooth.
- Mix in the brown sugar, curry powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dry mustard, cayenne pepper, and salt.
- Reduce heat to low and let the Curry BBQ Sauce simmer gently for about 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally. The sauce will thicken slightly as it cooks.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed add more cayenne for heat, more vinegar for tang, or a touch of maple syrup for extra sweetness.
- Remove from heat. Allow the Curry BBQ Sauce to cool before transferring it to a jar or airtight container.
Notes
Spiciness: Adjust cayenne to taste. For thinner sauce, add a splash of water or vinegar during simmer.
