Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium English cucumbers peeled and chopped
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • 4 –6 fresh mint leaves
  • 250 ml 1 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon honey sugar, or agave syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 small slice of fresh ginger
  • 1 green apple cored and chopped
  • A pinch of salt or black salt kala namak
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions
 

Get Everything Ready

  • Start by peeling and chopping the cucumbers. Core and slice the green apple. Cut a small piece of fresh ginger, and squeeze the juice from half a lemon. Set aside a few mint leaves as well.

Time To Blend

  • Add the chopped cucumber, apple, ginger, mint leaves, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and a bit of sweetener if you like (honey or agave works well) into a blender. Pour in some cold water, then blend until everything is smooth.

Strain It (If You Want)

  • If you prefer a smoother juice, pour the mixture through a fine strainer or cheesecloth into a jug or bowl. Use the back of a spoon to press out as much juice as possible.

Serve It Cold

  • Pour the juice into a glass over some ice cubes. That extra chill makes it even more refreshing.

Add A Little Touch

  • Top it off with a mint leaf or a thin cucumber slice if you’re feeling fancy. Give it a quick stir, and enjoy right away while it’s fresh.
