Ingredients
  

  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 bag 10 oz red and green Christmas M&M’s
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

Instructions
 

Get The Oven Ready

  • Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat so the cookies don’t stick.

Make The Dough

  • In a large bowl, stir together the cake mix, eggs, oil, and vanilla until everything comes together into a thick, smooth dough.

Add The M&M’s

  • Mix in most of the Christmas M&M’s, keeping a small handful aside to decorate the tops later.

Form The Cookies

  • Scoop out small mounds of dough with a spoon or cookie scoop and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each one.

Decorate

  • Press a few of the extra M&M’s onto the top of each cookie so they look colourful and festive.

Bake And Cool

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, just until the edges are set and the centers still look a little soft. Let the cookies rest on the pan for about 5 minutes, then move them to a rack to cool completely.
