Equipment

  • Blender or food processor
  • Fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Serving glasses
  • Spoon or spatula

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup chilled water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by giving your blackberries a good rinse under cold water to get rid of any dirt.
  • Toss the cleaned blackberries into a blender along with some cold water, a bit of honey or sugar to sweeten, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Blend everything until it’s nice and smooth.
  • Next, pour the blended mix through a fine strainer or cheesecloth into a bowl or pitcher. Use a spoon to press down and get as much juice out as you can, then throw away the leftover pulp.
  • To serve, fill your glass with ice cubes and pour the fresh blackberry juice over them. If you want, add a few mint leaves on top for a little extra flavour and a nice touch.
  • Give it a gentle stir and enjoy your refreshing blackberry juice right away!
