Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium red beets peeled and diced
  • 1 medium cucumber peeled and chopped
  • 2 medium carrots peeled and diced
  • 1 medium apple cored and chopped
  • 1 orange peeled and segmented
  • ½ lemon peeled
  • 1- inch piece of fresh ginger peeled
  • ½ cup cold water optional, if using a blender
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions
 

Get Your Ingredients Ready:

  • Start by peeling and cutting the beets and carrots into small pieces. Core and chop the apple, peel and break the orange into segments, peel the lemon and ginger, and peel and chop the cucumber.

If You Have A Juicer:

  • Put all the ingredients through the juicer, switching between harder items like beets and carrots and softer ones like orange and apple. This helps keep the juice flowing smoothly.

If You Don’t Have A Juicer:

  • Toss everything into a powerful blender. Add about half a cup of cold water to help it blend nicely. Blend until everything’s smooth. Next, strain the blended mix through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to separate the juice from the pulp. Press down to get as much juice out as you can.

To Serve:

  • Pour the fresh juice into glasses over some ice if you like it chilled. Give it a quick stir and drink up right away for the best flavor and nutrients.
