Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup chilled milk dairy or plant-based or water
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 medium apple peeled and cored
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

Get Your Ingredients Ready:

  • Peel and slice the bananas. Peel the orange and cut it into quarters. Measure out everything else you’ll need.

Put It All In The Blender:

  • Add the bananas, milk, Greek yogurt, water (or extra milk if you prefer), the orange pieces, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract if you’re using it, and just a pinch of salt into your blender.

Blend Until Smooth:

  • Turn the blender on high and blend for about 30 to 45 seconds until everything’s smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk or water and blend again.

Give It A Taste:

  • Try a little to see if it’s sweet enough or if it needs to be thinner. Adjust by adding a bit more honey or liquid if you want.

Serve And Enjoy:

  • Pour your smoothie into glasses. If you like, sprinkle some slivered pistachios on top or stir them in for a nice crunch.

Notes

You can chill the smoothie in the fridge before serving, or throw a few ice cubes in the blender if you want it colder right away.
