½lemonjuiced
1cupfiltered water
4datespitted and soaked in hot water for 5 minutes
Honey or sugarto taste (optional)
Instructions
Prep The Apples
Give the Autumn Glory apples a good rinse. Core them and cut into smaller chunks. You can leave the skins on unless you want a smoother finish.
Soften The Dates
Put the pitted dates in a bowl and cover with hot water. Let them sit for about 5 minutes so they soften up.
Blend Everything
Add the chopped apples, drained dates, lemon juice, and some water into a blender. Blend on high until everything’s completely smooth.
Strain It (If You Want)
If you prefer a clearer juice, pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher or bowl. Press down with a spoon to get all the juice out.
Sweeten To Taste
Give it a taste. If you want it a bit sweeter, stir in some honey or sugar until it’s fully dissolved.
Serve It Up
Pour into glasses and serve cold. You can chill it in the fridge or pour it over ice. Best enjoyed fresh.
