- 4 –5 fresh amlas Indian gooseberries, washed and chopped
- 2 cups cold water
- Honey jaggery, or sugar, to taste
- A pinch of black salt or regular salt
- ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- ½ inch piece of fresh ginger peeled and chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 7 –8 fresh mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves
- ½ black pepper powder
Make The Juice:
Toss the chopped amlas, ginger, mint, coriander, black pepper powder, and about 2 cups of water into a blender. Blend it all until it’s nice and smooth.
Add Some Flavour:
Mix in lemon juice, and then add honey, jaggery, or sugar whichever you prefer for sweetness. Don’t forget a pinch of black salt to bring out the taste. Stir everything well so the sweetener dissolves completely.
