Equipment

  • Blender or mixer grinder
  • Knife and chopping board
  • Measuring spoons
  • Serving glasses

Ingredients

  • 4 –5 fresh amlas Indian gooseberries, washed and chopped
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Honey jaggery, or sugar, to taste
  • A pinch of black salt or regular salt
  • ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • ½ inch piece of fresh ginger peeled and chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 7 –8 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves
  • ½ black pepper powder

Instructions

Get Everything Ready:

  • Start by chopping the fresh amlas and ginger into small pieces. Give the mint and coriander leaves a good wash to clean them up.

Make The Juice:

  • Toss the chopped amlas, ginger, mint, coriander, black pepper powder, and about 2 cups of water into a blender. Blend it all until it’s nice and smooth.

Optional Step:

  • If you want your juice smoother, you can strain it through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to get rid of any pulp.

Add Some Flavour:

  • Mix in lemon juice, and then add honey, jaggery, or sugar whichever you prefer for sweetness. Don’t forget a pinch of black salt to bring out the taste. Stir everything well so the sweetener dissolves completely.

Serve And Enjoy:

  • Pour the juice into glasses, add some ice if you like, and garnish with a fresh mint leaf. It’s best to drink it right away to enjoy all the fresh flavors and nutrients.

Notes

Consume amla juice fresh daily for optimal benefits. Customize sweetness and spice to your liking. Drink immediately to preserve nutrients, flavor, and freshness for the best health impact.
