  • Ice cubes as needed
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar optional
  • 1 cup citrus based juice such as orange, grapefruit, or pineapple juice

Instructions

Get Your Aloe Leaves Ready

  • Use a spoon or spatula to gently scoop out the clear gel from the leaf. Be careful to avoid the yellowish part just beneath the skin it tastes bitter and can upset your stomach.

Blend Everything Together

  • Put the fresh gel into a blender. Add about 2 cups of clean water, the juice from half a lemon, a bit of honey or any natural sweetener you like, a small pinch of salt, and a splash of white vinegar if you want. Blend it all until it’s smooth and a little frothy.

Strain The Juice

  • Pour the blended mix through a fine strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher to get rid of any leftover bits, making your juice silky smooth.

Add Some Citrus And Chill

  • Mix in a cup of your favourite citrus juice orange, grapefruit, pineapple, whatever you prefer to boost the flavour and add some vitamin C. Toss in some ice cubes to cool it down.

Serve And Enjoy

  • Pour your fresh aloe Vera juice into glasses. If you want, add a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint for a nice touch. Drink it right away to enjoy the best taste and benefits.
