Salt and freshly ground black pepperto taste
2tablespoonsolive oil or avocado oil
1teaspoonsoy sauce or tamari sauce
½teaspoongarlic granules
1fresh rosemary sprig
Optional garnish: Lemon wedges and freshly chopped parsley
Instructions
Step 1. Get The Air Fryer Ready
Start by preheating your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Let it run for a couple of minutes to warm up.
Step 2. Season The Mushrooms
Take your mushrooms halved or quartered, depending on their size and toss them in a bowl with a bit of olive oil, soy sauce or tamari, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well so everything gets evenly coated.
Step 3. Add A Hit Of Rosemary
Throw a sprig of rosemary into the bowl or drop it directly into the air fryer basket. It’ll add a nice, earthy aroma as the mushrooms cook.
Step 4. Time To Cook
Spread the mushrooms out in a single layer in the basket. Don’t overcrowd them. Cook for about 10 to 12 minutes, giving the basket a good shake halfway through. You’re looking for golden-brown edges and slightly crisp outsides.
Step 5. Serve And Enjoy
Once they’re done, pull them out, toss the rosemary sprig, and if you want to elevate the flavour, hit them with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a sprinkle of chopped parsley. Serve warm.
